Supergiant Games has rolled out a significant update for "Hades 2," aiming to address various bugs and quality-of-life issues in the game's early access phase. Alongside bug fixes, this update introduces numerous changes to elevate the gameplay experience, a response to feedback from the community.
Launched in early access on May 6, "Hades 2" continues the mythological saga from its predecessor, with Melinoe, Zagreus's sister, taking center stage as the protagonist. Players delve deeper into the mythic realm, confronting the Titan of Time with dark sorcery.
While the early access version of the game offers more content than the original, it remains a work in progress, with plans for significant updates and community-driven enhancements throughout the year.

In terms of gameplay improvements, this "Hades 2" early access patch introduces several enhancements. Players can now encounter up to one additional Olympian each night, increasing the chances of finding extra Boons or major rewards while exploring Erebus. The duration of invulnerability after activating Death Defiance effects has been extended, providing players with more leeway during intense battles.
Moreover, rewards of Ash and Psyche in Oceanus and the Rift of Thessaly have been enhanced. Players can also now press and hold to repeatedly harvest from Crescent Pick Outcroppings. Additionally, Toula will remain closer to players during encounters, particularly in the Fields of Mourning, while Nemesis will no longer offer Death Defiance items if they are not needed.
