Announced in 2019, Universal Orlando's Super Nintendo World was initially scheduled to open in 2024 but faced delays due to construction issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This new attraction will be part of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe theme park and will feature a Donkey Kong-themed roller coaster, alongside attractions based on Super Mario and Mario Kart.

Rumors suggest possible expansions featuring Pokémon and The Legend of Zelda, which would broaden the scope of Super Nintendo World beyond the Mario and Donkey Kong universes.
