Har en oppgave jeg sliter med her, noen som tør prøve seg? Svaret er 18,96m,

Tow guys wires stretch from the top T of a vertical pole to points B and C on the ground, where C is 10m closer to the base of the pole, than B is. If wire BT makes an angle of 35 degrees with the horizontal, and wire CT makes an angle of 50 degrees with the horizontal, how high is the pole?

I:
H/L = 1,19175359....
H= 1.1917* L

II:
H/(L+10) = 0,7002075...

1.1917L / (L+10) = 0,7
1.1917L = 0,7L + 7
0,4917L = 7

L=14,26 .... -> H=1,1917L =16,96 ???

hvor er feilen på 2 meter ?

La y vera avstanden frå stonga til C og x vera høgda på stonga. Me har då

tan 50 = x/y og tan 35 = x/(y + 10).

Dette gjev

x = y tan 50 = y tan 35 + 10 tan 35,

dvs.

y = 10 tan 35/(tan 50 - tan 35)

og

x = 10 tan 35 tan 50/(tan 50 - tan 35) = 16,98.
