Show that the functions
f[sub]A,B[/sub](x) = Ae[sup]kx[/sup] + Be[sup]-kx[/sup], and
g[sub]C,D[/sub](x) = Ccosh(kx) + Dsinh(kx),
are both solutions of the general diff.eq. y'' -k[sup]2[/sup]y=0.
